About the Author 

Background 

Tanisha Murray-Nolberto is a full of energy and passionate Educator from New York with over 10 years of experience.  She is the author of the picture book I Matter ,Believe in Yourself, and  It Starts with You, which was written to remind young people to always LOVE, VALUE , and Push themselves despite of all odd. Tanisha always had a passion helping young people with their struggles. In her spare time, she counsels young girls and teens to overcome abuse, neglect, and fear.

Motivation

Writing has always been her way of expressing herself. She have always felt when you teach a child when they are young, it will lead them on the right path. She believes when children begin interacting with books at a young age, it inspires them to continue cultivating a habit of reading for enjoyment as they become older.
